Shift from licensing software to outsourcing billing enables group to reduce costs and optimize efficiencies
INDIANAPOLIS, IND. – May 11, 2010 – Zotec Partners, an industry leader in medical billing, practice management and Radiology Information Systems (RIS) software and services, announces today that Atlantic Medical Imaging (AMI) is now outsourcing billing services to the company. Since 2008, AMI has licensed Zotec Partners’ Electronic Billing Center (EBC) suite, which includes the RIS, EZ Med Portal and Decision Support tools. Now, the company is turning billing over to the experts at Zotec.
AMI will continue to utilize the RIS tool, which allows the practice to effectively manage its scheduling and workflow needs. With just a few clicks of the mouse, AMI has the ability to overbook, block and reschedule appointments, as well as collect patient copays, update demographics, scan patient information and receive notification regarding the state of a patient’s account.
